Dagestan harvested 1 mln. tonnes of vegetables this year

During 9 months of the current year, production of agrarian produce increased by 5.4% in Dagestan as compared to the same period of the last year, reported RIA “Dagestan”.

According to data of the Ministry of economics, this year, more than 990.700 tonnes of vegetables were harvested by the growers. The main reasons of rise of production were expansion of lands and increase of cattle head as well as increase of agrarian crop yield and production of cattle breeding.
