Trades in Ukrainian futures exchange to start in 6 months
On January 16 organisational meeting of Ukrainian Futures Exchange was held, where its management was elected and approved.
The post of the Exchange President was delegated to Leonid Kozachenko, that of the Head of Supervisory Council - to Serhiy Tyhypko, the Head of NBU.
Leonid Kozachenko said to a press-conference: "We are planning to start active trades as early as in six months. We need this time to register the exchange, to involve specialists and to solve some organisational and technical issues."
It is planed that the exchange will be working with both futures and spot contracts. The trades will be operated in both outcry and electronic regime.
