Moldova: difficulties with sales of imported grapes

According to the data provided by agrarian exchange Agravista, sales of imported grapes on the domestic market faced some difficulties as compared to sales of domestic produce, reported VINMOLDOVA.MD.

According to the given information, domestic grapes are more competitive than imported produce. At that, wholesale prices for grapes imported from Romania and Turkey are declared within a range of 1.74 euro/kg, at the same time as prices for table white and red grapes of Moldavian origin are varied within a range of 0.45- 1.06 euro/kg.

According to the forecast of the Ministry of agriculture and food, this year gross crop of grapes may reach 700.000 tonnes.
