Ukraine and Russia agreed about "mutual non-aggression" should one be accepted to WTO before the other
Ukraine and Russia intend to sign a document, stipulating that in case of accession of these countries to World Trade Organisation in different time, one party will not stake extra claims against the other, Ukraine's Minister of Economy and for European Integration Valery Khoroshkivsky told reporters.
He said on Sunday in Swiss Davos, following his meeting with Russia's Minister of Economic Development German Gref at the World Economic Forum: "One of the actual agreements, reached at the meeting, has been that we'll sign a so called "mutual non-aggression pact", that is irrespective of that which of the countries will be the first to join WTO, it will not put additional claims to the other one, which has lagged behind. It's quite an important issue as it removes mutual suspiciousness from this process (of Ukraine's and Russia's accession to WTO - IFU)".
