Russia: prices for potatoes can increase
As most specialists forecast, prices for potatoes may increase by 1.5 times by the spring. As of October of the current year, prices for potatoes increased by 1/3 from 0.34 euro/kg to 0.45 euro/kg, reported YUGA.ru.
According to many producers, yield of potatoes in Russia decreased in 3 times, compared to Europe, so that the cost price of domestic produce is higher. Besides, domestic varieties are unsuitable for long-term storing.
