Ukraine's confectionery corporation "Roshen" increased output 2.5 pc in January
Confectionery plants belonging to corporation "Roshen" increased output of their product in January this year 2.5 percent compared with January 2002 - up to 14,436 tonnes, the corporation's marketing department informed yesterday.
The corporation exported 6,135 tonnes of its products in January, which is 4.3 percent less than the year before.
The corporation owns Kremenchug Confectinery Plant, Kiev Karl Marx Confectionery Plant, Vinnitsa and Mariupol Confectionery plants. It exports its products to Russia, Moldova, Israel, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Germany, the USA, Estonia and Latvia. In 2002 it produced 176,189 tonnes of confectionery goods - 4.6 percent up from the year before.
The corporation is a leader in Ukrainian market. Its share of Ukrainian confectionery goods market in 2001 was 27 percent.
