Belarusian government approved measures to increase domestic production of beet sugar

The government's document, among other, stipulates increase of sown areas under sugar beet and gross crops of sugar beet. In 2003 and 2004 they will constitute, correspondingly, 77,000 hectares and 3 million tonnes, Belorusskaya Delovaya Gazeta has informed.
