Moldova: production of wine reduced

According to information provided by National statistics bureau of Moldova, as of January 2009, value of wine production totaled $ 4.8 mln that is down 30.8 %, compared to the same index of January 2008.

Many experts reported that demand decrease on the international markets due to financial crisis was the main reason of decrease of production volumes.
