Kazakhstan: leading hothouse complex plans to increase production volumes
According to official information, provided by the government of Kazakhstan, domestic hothouse complex plans to increase the production volumes - more than 15 tonnes of hothouse vegetables per a day. Representatives of state press-cutting service reported that during the period since March till November of the current year the enterprise plan to produce 2000 tonnes of fresh vegetables. But at the moment domestic produce is not competitive on the market due to presence of Chinese fresh vegetable produce that is cheaper. Thus the main goal of the hothouse complex is to decrease production costs.
