Deputies legalised private farms in Ukraine
On Thursday Verchovna Rada has passed the farm law that determines legal, economic and social bases of creation of farms.
According to the law the farm can be created by the citizen or several citizens of Ukraine which are his relatives. Members of such enterprises cannot be the persons working under the labour contract. The force of the law is not applied to the citizens that run own farming or use the ground areas for construction and service of an apartment house, utility buildings and structures, gardening and cattle pasture.
According to the law citizens should address to the regional state administration for obtaining or hiring of the state-owned ground areas for farming. Citizens should address to local authorities administration for obtaining or hiring of municipal ground areas
According to the law the ground areas given to citizens of Ukraine - members of farms for using will become their property at a rate of a ground share of members of collective farming placed on the territory of correspondent local authorities. This regulation is not applied to citizens received the right for ground share before.
According to the law new-founded farms during formation and farms with separate manors should receive help from the state and local budgets and also from state fund of farm support. The Cabinet should annually provide in the project of the state budget means for support of farms.
