Russia: imports of melon and watermelon increased significantly in October

According to official data in October of this year Russia imported almost 23.8 tones of melon and watermelon , 2.8 times up compared to October of the last year. The largest volume of supply came from Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan. The average import price for watermelons, totaled 487 USD/t, 22% down, compared to the previous year.
