Ukraine: processing plants started buying strawberries

Ukraine's processing plants started buying strawberries this week, www.fruit-inform.com reports. Nowadays producers of frozen berries are the only interested in strawberries. The wholesale price amounts to 8-10 UAH/kg (0,8-1 EUR). The producers can hardly buy the raw materials of high quality at lower price as the price for fresh product ran up to 10-15 UAH/kg (1-1.5 EUR).
