Organic berries in Ukraine

“Certification of organic production in Ukraine. Requirements to harvesting of wild berries” is a subject of the analytical report of Sergey Galashevskiy, Director of Organik Standart company, at the Second International Conference “Berries of Ukraine-2011: Freezing and Fresh Market”. The report will cover the peculiarities of harvesting of wild and cultivated berries both in Ukraine and in the world in whole. Also it will deal with the latest changes in this sector's legislation and organic produce certification issues. As of today, majority of big producers of frozen wild berries have certified their production, other enterprises are in process of certifying or plan to do it in the nearest time for more fruitful work in the global market.

Besides organic subjects, the conference will cover the following issues: Ukraine's and global markets for fresh and frozen berries, novelties in the berry growing technologies in Ukraine, freezing of berry produce, marketing of fresh and frozen berries, and many others.

The Second International Conference-Exhibition “Berries of Ukraine-2011: Freezing and Fresh Market” organized by Fruit-Inform Project and Shuvar will take place at Shuvar wholesale market, 4-b Khutorovka St, Lvov, Ukraine, May 19-20, 2011.

Registration for participation in the conference-exhibition will be in effect till May 13, 2011. Applications for advertising reports and presentations, as well as for participation in the conference-exhibition as a sponsor are accepted till May 1, 2011.
