Ukrainian and Russian fruit and vegetable retail sectors to gather in Kiev on December 2

The leading representatives of Ukrainian and Russian retail sectors will meet with fruit and vegetable suppliers in 14 days at the 8th International Conference “Fruits & Vegetables of Ukraine – 2011. New Exporter”, Kiev, Ukraine. As of today, the schedule of meetings with top-managers of Ukrainian and Russian retail chains' fruit and vegetable departments is 70% completed. The high interest to International Trade Forum is shown from both suppliers and retailers that again confirms such an event being rather timely in Ukraine.

There are two companies from Russia having confirmed their participation in the trade forum: Tander (Magnit hypermarket chain) and Viktoriya Group of Companies (Viktoriya Kvartal, Deshevo, Semeynaya Kopilka, Cash store chains, Viktoriya supermarket chain). Both these companies enter the group of top 15 Russian retailers and are an important link in the fruit and vegetable trade between Russia, the CIS and EU countries.

Moreover, all biggest Ukrainian chains have confirmed their meetings at the retail forum too: Auchan, Metro, ATB-Market, Kontinent, Karavan, Klass, Ukrainskiy Retail (Brusnichka freshmarket chain), X-5 Retail Group (Ukrainian Perekrestok), Billa, Furshet, Velyka Kyshenya, Varus, Fozzy Group (Silpo, Fozzy, Fora) together with regional retailers.
