Mark you calendars! “Potatoes and Vegetables of Ukraine — 2012”, Kiev, Ukraine, February 16-17, 2012

Fruit-Inform announces that the 4th International Conference “Potatoes and Vegetables of Ukraine – 2012” will take place on February 16-17, 2012. By popular demand, the conference will be held in Kiev, Ukraine.

The conference dates are ideal for producers, as they have enough time to adjust their planted area plans. Therefore the first fundamental Ukraine potato and vegetable production and price forecast for the season 2012/13 and price forecast for the last months of the season 2011/12 will be presented on February 16 (previously it was published in late May).

Below you can find this year's conference novelties:

1. More comfortable conditions of participation: holding of the conference in Kiev that will enable to have more number of foreign guests and representatives of all Ukrainian regions.

2. The registration fee at the previous year's level.

3. Emphasis on produce marketing. Fruit-Inform continues to conduct its analysis of probable target markets for traditional vegetables (onions, white cabbages, red beets, carrots) and potatoes, and will share the results of this analysis with the conference participants. In addition, active participation of retail and wholesale representatives is also expected.

4. Fundamental production, price, export and import forecast already on February 16 (previously it was presented in late May).

5. Combined format (conference sessions and a tour to modern storehouse with potato and vegetable post-harvesting facility)

Preliminary program, conditions of participation and application form will be available on Fruit-Inform web-site since December 16, 2011.
