Anti-frost and anti-hail systems for orchards as an urgent issue for growers

Modern anti-frost and anti-hail systems for apple orchards will be a subject of the speech of Mr. Aleksandr Yevseyev, Chief Agronomist of Crimean Fruit Company, at the 2nd International Conference “Apple Business of Ukraine & Russia - 2012” that will be held on August 9-10, 2012, Kiev, Ukraine. This issue is rather urgent now, as apple farms from all regions of Ukraine are negatively affected by frosts and hail. As of today, Crimean Fruit Company is the second biggest apple grower in Ukraine (more than 1,000 hectares) with the most up-to-date apple production, harvesting and storage technologies having been introduced.

The conference participants will also listen to Mr. Andrey Bagriy, Director of Obriy OOO, with the speech on novelties in apple production technologies in intensive orchards. Moreover, the conference attendees will be able to take part in the business-tour to Obriy OOO on August 10 and get acquainted with apple production in practice.

The Russian company Fito-Mag is the general sponsor of the conference. The conference business-tour is sponsored by Bayer CropScience. The event is supported by Obriy OOO, and AnyWayAnyDay is the conference travel partner.

The conference will be attended by more than 150 delegates from 10-13 countries of the world. Applications for participation in the conference are accepted till August 3, 2012.
