Information for fruit and vegetables business in CIS
Cherkasy AMP office is conducting the seminar "Marketing, agricultural technologies, information and perspectives of fruit and vegetable market development in the central region of Ukraine"
Cherkasy office of Agricultural Marketing Project (AMP) invites everybody concerned to participate in the seminar "Marketing, agricultural technologies, information and perspectives of fruit and vegetable market development in the central region of Ukraine" to be conducted on the 15th of February 2005 in Cherkasy.
The leaders of farms, private agricultural producers - the producers of fruit and vegetable commodities cooperating with the Project at the moment - and also the representatives of wholesale and retail trade, processing enterprises and also input suppliers will take part in the event.
In the seminar the market analysis for the major types of commodities in 2004 and the prognoses for the next year will be presented; the peculiarities of the AMP market information system work and the usefulness of communication facilities will be discussed; the participants will have the opportunity to see the results of fruit and vegetable marketing in the season 2004 and plans for 2005; the international trends for the modern marketing of fruit and vegetable commodities, the sales channels structure and new opportunities and innovations of fruit and vegetable market in Cherkasy oblast will also be addressed; the participants will be able to consider the fruit and vegetable marketing results in 2004 and the pilot projects for 2005. The attention will be paid to the development of fruit and vegetable market in Poland, agronomic activities of AMP in 2004 and in particular the practical results of AMP demosite activities in Cherkasy oblast in 2004; the peculiarities of vegetable crops protection in the conditions of 2004 season; the possibilities of obtaining loans for the farmers in the region in 2005. The participants will learn the possibilities of business-planning and modeling with the help of the farm business model carried out by Agricultural Marketing Project.
All participants of the seminar will get the manual on the newest technologies of fruit and vegetable production and marketing.
