The seminar "Marketing, agricultural technologies, market information and the perspectives for fruit and vegetable market development in Lviv oblast" will be conducted in Lviv on the 3rd of March 2005
Lviv office of Agricultural Marketing Project is organizing the seminar "Marketing, agricultural technologies, market information and the perspectives for fruit and vegetable market development in Lviv oblast"; it will be conducted in Lviv on the 3rd of March 2005 in building 36, Ivana Pulyua street (the premises of Lviv High School of Restaurant Service and Tourism, near Nauchnaya street).
The chiefs of farms - fruit and vegetable producers will participate in this event free of charge; the representatives of the processing enterprises, wholesale and retail companies, input suppliers, and the specialists of Kyiv and Lviv AMP offices will also take part in the seminar.
On the seminar the analysis of the markets selling the major types of commodity in 2004 and the prognoses of its development in 2005 will be introduced; the peculiarities of AMP market information system work and the importance of the communication facilities will be focused on; the participants will have an opportunity to know the results of the marketing season 2004 and plans on 2005, as well as the pilot projects in 2005; the agronomic activity of AMP in Ukraine in 2004, the practical results of the AMP demosite activities in Lviv oblast in 2004, the peculiarities of vegetable crops protection in the season 2004 will be discussed.
Besides, the computer model will be presented to the attention of the producers; it is a tool specially developed by AMP specialists for defining the most profitable crops in the region, and planning the production and sales in the view of the maximum profit.
All participants will obtain the handout materials; besides they can ask for the consultations of AMP specialists concerning any questions of production and sale of fruit and vegetable commodities.
