ITE Moscow and Fruit-Inform announce the Russian fruit and vegetable conference

Fruit-Inform, the biggest informational and analytical company in the Eastern European fruit and vegetable business, and ITE, the organizer of World Food Moscow 2012 and the leader in the CIS exhibition sector, announce the 5th International Conference “Fruit & Vegetable Business of Russia – 2012”, the event that have already become a traditional meeting place for professionals throughout the world engaged in wholesale and retail trade, growing, post-harvest handling and processing of fruits and vegetables as well as companies rendering services for the business. This is already second joint event of Fruit-Inform and ITE Moscow after holding the 4th International Conference “Fruit & Vegetable Business of Russia – 2011”in September 2011.

The conference taking place in conjunction with the biggest fruit and vegetable exhibition in Russia enables all the participants to have maximum results from both conducting negotiations with suppliers and buyers during the exhibition and receiving exclusive market information from the sector's leaders with a possibility to communicate with them right during the conference.

“It is the year 2012 when the conference is especially topical thanks to two major events: expected Russia's entry into the WTO and the bankruptcy of the biggest fruit and vegetable importer in the country. The former may lead to sharp changes in the fresh produce import geography, while the latter creates unique opportunities to increase the market shares of the business operators, both importers and supermarket chains”, Tetiana Getman, Head of Fruit-Inform, says. “In addition, it is the current year when Fruit-Inform's price forecast is of a special interest, as our last year's forecast of potato and vegetable price collapse came true. Of course, other key problems and opportunities of the Russian fruit and vegetable sector will not be set aside”, the expert continues.

The conference is expected to be attended by about 200 professionals of the fruit and vegetable business from 15 countries throughout the world.

Pay your attention that the conference fee was not revised: 300 euro.
