Chilean Fresh Fruit Association becomes the general sponsor of the conference “Fruit & Vegetable Business of Russia - 2012”
Fruit-Inform reminds that registration of participation in the 5th International Conference “Fruit & Vegetable Business of Russia – 2012” continues. The conference will be held on September 18 this year, in conjunction with World Food Moscow Fair, Russia.
The Chilean Fresh Fruit Association representing one of the key fruit sectors of the world is the general sponsor of the event. For example, during the 2010 - 2011 season, Chile managed to export more than 2.5 mln tonnes of fresh fruits that was 6% more compared with the previous season.
Thanks to their consistency, excellent quality of products and counter seasonal supply season, Chilean fruits enjoy wide popularity in many countries throughout the globe. And the Russian Federation is not an exception. Chile exported 110,000 tonnes of fruits directly into the Russian market during the 2010 - 2011 season, an increase of 8% in regards to the previous season.
At the conference, representatives of The Chilean Fresh Fruit Association will not only share the information about novelties in their produce and further plans on development in Russia, but speak on current trends in the global fresh produce market from the standpoint of one of the most successful and competitive fruit and vegetable sectors of the world.
Besides Chilean representatives, the conference will be attended by delegates from 15 countries throughout the globe, while the total number of participants will amount to about 200 people.
