Belarus harvested over 5 mln t of grain to date

Up to September 1 Belarusian agricultural producers crossed the 5-million-tonne mark of harvested grain, an official of agriculture ministry Tatyana Fomichova told in an interview. She said total amount of harvested grain to the date constituted 5.1 million tonnes at average yield 2.7 tonnes per hectare.

Harvest is going to be basically finished by September 10, Ms Fomichova said. Only 8 percent of grain remains to be harvested.
