As to estimations, prices for vegetables and potatoes to decrease sharply in the next season
In the season 2011/12, prices for vegetables and potatoes may sharply decrease in Ukraine. This was told by Andriy Yarmak, Head of Fruit-Inform Project, during work of the seventh international conference ”Vegetables and Fruit of Ukraine-2010”.
Also, in the nearest time, traditional vegetables, already having prices higher by 40% than in the last year, will start growing in price again. The main reason of predictable growth of prices is insufficient supply of produce of high quality from domestic agrarians.
