Last year's and early white cabbage equaled in price in Ukraine
Prices for early cabbage have sharply fallen in Ukraine after Easter holidays. If in the end of last week domestic produce was offered at UAH 20-25/kg (EUR 1.71-2.14/kg), then now white cabbage is sold from farms at UAH 14-15/kg (EUR 1.20-1.28/kg), and some sellers are willing to conduct sales at even UAH 12/kg (EUR 1.03/kg). In such a way, prices for last year's and early white cabbage have almost equaled. Those farms which are as before selling last year's white cabbage fix prices at UAH 11-13/kg (EUR 0.94-1.11/kg) and do not intend to bring them down pleading exhaustion of stocks and stable demand.
