No imports of livestock products to Ukraine will be encouraged - AgMin
According to supply/demand balances of livestock products, prepared by the Ministry of Agrarian Policy, it can be affirmed that Ukraine will be able to meet the effective demand for these products, Deputy Agrarian Policy Minister Yuri Melnyk told reporters on October 1. He said in this connection no special measures for import of livestock products to Ukraine were going to be taken.
"We also won't be restricting the export, which grew in the last [marketing] year on main items (meat, ready meat products, dry milk, butter, cheese), and so will in the current one", Mr. Melnyk said.
