Early cabbage prices in Ukraine the lowest over last three years
According to Fruit-Inform Project, current prices for early cabbage in Ukraine are the lowest over last three years. Now average wholesale price is 15% lower than in the same period of last year, and 10% lower than in 2009.
Such a situation is explained by considerable expansion of planted area under early and late cabbage varieties. Analysts think that rains recently observed in the country will favor high production of late cabbage varieties.
