Second harvesting of cucumbers started in Ukraine's southern regions
According to Fruit-Inform Project, farmers from the southern regions of Ukraine started the second harvesting of cucumbers this week. The supply of such cucumbers is expected to increase sharply next week that may have a negative impact on prices.
Currently canning factories from the southern Ukrainian regions plan to resume purchase of cucumbers. As to the fresh market, the cucumber supply and demand are assessed there as balanced.
