Will Russia manage to abandon greenhouse vegetable imports?

Russia is one of the major target markets in the world for international suppliers of greenhouse technologies thanks to huge investments in the greenhouse business. In fact, the country has made a considerable breakthrough in production of greenhouse vegetables since 2004 when the high interest to modern greenhouse technologies arose. Nevertheless, Russia as before remains one of the main target markets for greenhouse vegetables from Turkey, Spain, Poland, Ukraine and other countries.

Therefore the prospects of Russia's greenhouse business development will be given much attention during the Fourth International Conference “Fruit & Vegetable Business of Russia – 2011” which will be hosted in conjunction with World Food Moscow, September 14, 2011. In particular, Natalya Rogova, General Director of Association of Greenhouses of Russia, will speak on opportunities in this business. Her speech will touch the issues of Russia's capability to abandon vegetable imports and imports' impact on the country's internal market.

Do not miss a unique opportunity to receive the up-to-date market analytics and communicate with leading participants of the fresh produce sector! Application form for participation in the conference is available here.
