Import of flour in October increased from previous month
According to official statistics, in October Ukraine imported 18,300 tonnes against 11,000 tonnes in September. The share of wheat flour constituted 15,700 tonnes (8,300 tonnes in September), of which 94.5 percent was supplied from Russia at average price of $222 per tonne ($201 per tonne in September) and 5.1 percent from Kazakhstan. The remainder of the amount was represented by Russian and Belarusian rye flour, imported in approximately equal quantities from the two countries (approximately the same as in September).
