Belarusian farms increased production of meat in Jan.-Nov.

In January-November Belarusian agricultural organisations produced 638,000 tonnes of meat, which is by 8,800 tonnes more than in the same months last year, BELTA agency informed with reference to the Ministry of Statistics and Analysis. According to statisticians, the sales of animals and poultry for slaughter to processing enterprises and shops stayed at the level of January-November last year, which is 604,700 tonnes of live weight. However, 32.2 percent of meat was sold through other sales channels, e.g. to private persons, at marketplaces, etc.
