Ukraine banned import of pork from a region of Slovakia
Ukraine's state department of veterinary medicine has banned import of live pigs, pork and pork-origin products, produced in the Slovakian region of Prievic, because of a registered in this region case of a dangerous animal disease - classical pig plague. This was ordered by the official letter of the State Customs Service, UNIAN news agency informed.
The letter reads that import of other products from Slovakia is performed in accordance with veterinary regulations concerning imported [livestock] commodities.
