New agriculture minister introduced
On January 12, in the Ministry of Agrarian Policy, Ukraine's Deputy Prime Minister Ivan Kyrylenko introduced the new Minister for Agrarian Policy Viktor Slauta.
According to I. Kyrylenko, V. Slauta was recommended for the position by the agrarian faction of Ukrainian parliament. He previously held the position of the First Deputy Head of the Agrarian Committee of Verkhovna Rada.
Kyrylynko thanked the former AP Minister Serhiy Ryzhuk for his job on the position and noted that had been able to withstand with honour the difficult period for Ukraine's agricultural economy.
The new Minister Viktor Slauta, in response to the reporters' questions, said he was not planning any personnel changes in the Ministry.
