Kazakhstan for the first time exported over 5.8 mln t of grain in 2003

In 2003 Kazakhstan, for the first time in its independent history, sold to foreign markets more than 5.8 million tonnes of grains. This was declared on February 6, at the meeting of Kazakhstan's authorities, devoted to the issues of agro-industrial complex, by the country's Deputy Prime Minister, the Minister of Agriculture Akhmejan Yesimov, ITAR-TASS news agency informed.
