Livestock industry production in January
In January 2004 the total volume of animals and poultry, sold for slaughter by all categories of Ukrainian producers, constituted 243,400 tonnes, which is by 9,000 tonnes or 3.6 percent less than in January 2003.
Production of milk made 613,200 tonnes against 656,300 tonnes in January 2003, production of eggs - 745.9 million, which is by 28.3 million or 3.7 percent less than in January last year.
