Ukraine banned import of poultry meat from Canadian province British Columbia because of "bird flu"
Ukraine has imposed a ban onto imports of poultry and poultry-origin products from Canadian province British Columbia because of registration of "bird flu" disease in this region, the State Department of Veterinary Medicine informed on Tuesday, according to Interfax-Ukraine agency.
The import limitation, in particular, includes live poultry, incubational eggs, poultry meat and all kinds of poultry-origin products.
Earlier Ukraine imposed bans on imports of poultry meat from the American states of Delaware and Taxes and also from Japan, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, China, Pakistan and South Korea, due to registration of "bird flu" in these regions and countries.
