VAT issue might be resolved today
Verkhovna Rada (Parliament) of Ukraine is expected to consider today the draft law No. 4467, submitted by People's Deputy of Ukraine Katherine Vashchuk, about putting amendments into the Law of Ukraine "About State Budget for 2004" (regarding payment of value added tax by economic subjects of agro-industrial complex).
The bill stipulates reimbursement of VAT in exports of agricultural products from Ukraine, with the exception of wheat, rye and barley.
On March 3 the industry associations of agro-industrial complex applied to the people's deputies with a request to adopt this bill in the shortest possible term.
