Russia: 891,200 t of grains sold in 18 days of grain interventions
According to the press-centre of Moscow Inter-Bank Currency Exchange, on March 30 the participants of tenders within the framework of state commodity interventions on Russian grain market bought 50,000 tonnes of grain, including 17,800 tonnes of milling wheat Class 3 at the average price of 4,764 roubles per tonne, 29,500 tonnes of wheat Class 4 at 3,705 roubles per tonne and 3,500 tonnes of milling rye Group A at 3,116 roubles per tonne (28.5 roubles = $1).
Totally over the eighteen days of the exchange trades the amount of grain, sold from the state intervention fund, made 891,200 tonnes, including 262,000 tonnes of wheat Class 3, 497,500 tonnes of wheat Class 4 and 132,000 tonnes of milling rye.
