Prices for top grade flour in Ukraine rose 27.6 pc in half year

Prices for top grade flour in Ukraine since September 30, 2003 until March 30, 2004 increased 27.6 percent, press-service of the Ministry of Economy has informed. Since the start of this year until March 30 the prices increased 5.2 percent.

Prices for bread, prepared from top grade flour since September 30 increased 29.7 percent, since the start of 2004 - 2.6 percent. Prices for bread from 1st grade flour increased 20.9 percent since September 30 and 2.2 percent since the start of this year. The prices for bread, baked from flour mixes, rose 19.6 percent since September 30 last year and 1.4 percent since January 1, 2004.
