Farm sector reformation programme, supported by Canadian gvt, will be realised in Rovno Oblast

A programme of reformation and modernisation of farming sector will be realised in Rovno Oblast under financial support of Canadian government. The relevant memorandum has been signed by representatives of Rovno Regional State Administration and the Canadian party.

The main purpose of the project is support of reformation of Ukrainian farm sector, increase of the farms' profitability and improvement of the living standard of rural population, involvement of non-governmental organisations into development and realisation of agrarian policy, arrangement of partner relationships between Ukrainian and Canadian farmers. The programme participants from the Canadian side are agricultural governmental bodies from the Provinces of Alberta, Manitoba, Saskatchewan and the Saskatchewan Trade & Export Partnership. The participants from the Ukrainian side are Ministry of Agrarian Policy, the Academy of Agrarian Sciences, the National Agrarian University, the State Regional Administrations of Volyn, Rovno, Sumy and Dnepropetrovsk Oblasts.
