Russia: 1.042 mln t of grains sold in 22 days of grain interventions
According to the press-centre of Moscow Inter-Bank Currency Exchange, on April 13 the participants of tenders within state commodity interventions on Russian grain market bought 25,900 tonnes of grain, including 9,000 tonnes of milling wheat Class 3 at the average price of 5,153 roubles per tonne, 15,200 tonnes of wheat Class 4 at 4,156 roubles per tonne and 1,700 tonnes of milling rye Group A at 3,361 roubles per tonne (28.5 roubles = $1).
Totally over the twenty two days of the exchange trades the amount of grain, sold from the state intervention fund, made 1,042,400 tonnes, including 305,600 tonnes of wheat Class 3, 577,300 tonnes of wheat Class 4 and 159,400 tonnes of milling rye.
