Ukraine keeps on reducing apple puree exports
According to State Statistics Service of Ukraine, over the past 4 years, Ukraine's apple puree exports fell 6.8 times with Russia reducing its share in total exports from Ukraine. If in the season 2008/09 Russia had accounted for the share of 86% in Ukraine's total apple puree exports, then in the season 2011/12 Russia's share fell to 1%.
According to Federal State Statistics Service of the Russian Federation, in the season 2008/09, Ukraine was the third biggest exporter of apple puree to Russia being behind only Chile and Moldova. However, in the season 2011/12, Ukraine took one of the last places in apple puree exports to the Russian Federation.
