Ukraine increases AJC exports to Poland
In the first 2 months of the current season (July-August), Ukraine's apple juice concentrate (AJC) exports to Poland reached 3,200 tonnes. In the previous season, Ukrainian exports to Poland started only in November, while in July-August export volumes equaled to zero.
Current export prices of unclarified AJC vary between 950-1,000 euro/tonne, while a year earlier their range amounted to 900-950 euro/tonne.
According to Fruit-Inform, in the season 2011/12, Poland imported almost 12,000 tonnes of AJC from Ukraine that was 2.5 times as many as in the preceding season.
