Russia increases apple juice concentrate imports

In the first two months of the season 2012/13 (July-August), Russia imported 18,200 tonnes of apple juice concentrate (AJC) that was almost 21% higher year-on-year. China and Ukraine were the leaders in AJC exports to the Russian Federation with the export volumes of 11,200 tonnes and 5,600 tonnes, respectively.

It should be noted that in the season 2011/12 Russia imported 100,500 tonnes of AJC that was 8% higher year-on-year.
