Russia reduces apple puree imports in Q3
Russia imported 937 tonnes of apple puree in Q3 this year that was 6% lower year-on-year. Chile quadrupled its share in Russia's total apple puree imports and accounted for 84% in it.
It should be noted that last year Azerbaijan led in apple puree exports to the Russian Federation with its share amounting to 39%. In total, in the season 2011/12, Russia imported 2,750 tonnes of apple puree that was 18% lower year-on-year.
