Record high exports of Ukrainian AJC in Q3
According to State Statistics Service of Ukraine, the country exported 20,900 tonnes of apple juice concentrate (AJC) in Q3 this year that was 19 times higher year-on-year. Russia and EU were the main importers of Ukrainian AJC.
It should be noted that an increase in AJC exports was registered thanks to higher export volumes to the EU countries as many of them had started importing Ukrainian AJC earlier than usual.
As regards Ukraine's AJC imports, Brazil and Russia turned out to be the major suppliers in Q3 this year with their shares in total imports amounting to 41% and 39%, respectively.
