Confectionery corporation Roshen increased output 18 pc in the 1st quarter 2004

The confectionery plants within the major Ukrainian confectionery industry corporation Roshen in January-March 2004 increased output of their products 18 percent compared with the same period of last year - to 51,600 tonnes, a representative of Roshen's Marketing Department has informed.

In 2003 the corporation increased production 18.6 percent from the year before - to 208,900 tonnes.

Roshen is an affiliate company of the concern "Ukrprominvest" and is currently the leader of Ukrainian confectionery goods market.
