Armenia increases fruit and vegetable exports to UAE, France and Russia
According to Armenpress, Armenia increased exports of fruits and vegetables in 2012 as compared with 2011 data.
The country exported 183 tonnes of fresh and canned vegetables to the United Arab Emirates in 2012 in comparison with 41.8 tonnes registered in 2011. Exports of fruit and vegetable juices to the UAE grew by 44% to 2.6 tonnes.
France imported 112,500 liters of Armenian fruit and vegetable juices in 2012, 2.5 times of exports a year before.
As regards Russia, this country purchased 1.5 mln liters of juices from Armenia in 2012. Armenia's juice exports to the Russian Federation in 2011 reached just 1.3 mln liters.
