Russia reduces imports of Dutch juices in February
According to Federal State Statistics Service of the Russian Federation, the country imported about 2,900 tonnes of Dutch fruit and vegetable juices in February this year, a decrease of 9% year-on-year. For comparison, imports in February 2012 amounted to 3,000 tonnes.
The Netherlands' cumulative exports of fruit and vegetable juices to the Russian Federation over the first 8 months of the current season grew by 6% to 25,000 tonnes. Despite higher exports, the Netherlands turned out to be the third largest juice exporter to Russia, whereas a season earlier the country was behind only China.
