Ukraine doubles raisin imports in Q1 2013
According to State Statistics Service of Ukraine, the country doubled raisin imports year-on-year to 10,200 tonnes in Q1 2013. Iran led in raisin exports to Ukraine with the share of 80% in Ukraine's total imports. Insignificant volumes were also imported from Uzbekistan and India. Ukraine's imports of raisins this year turned out to be record high over the previous 5 years.
