Poland: strawberry prices double year-on-year
In view of limited supply, strawberry prices are rather high now in Poland. Strawberries are still sold in small volumes or by retail.
Last year prices of first greenhouse strawberries of Honey variety varied between 3.00-3.60 euro/kg, while currently they are sold at 4.31-6.00 euro/kg.
It should also be noted that strawberries are now also sold at 2.87-3.59 euro/kg; however, their origin and quality are doubtful.
We would remind you that the current strawberry season started 2-3 weeks later in Poland due to prolonged cold spring.
