Russia: lower AJC imports in April
According to Federal State Statistics Service of the Russian Federation, the country imported record low 9,000 tonnes of apple juice concentrate (AJC) in April 2013, a decrease of 41% from the same month of the previous year.
At the same time, Russia's cumulative AJC imports over the first 10 months of the season 2012/13 grew by 9% to 85,0000 tonnes against 78,000 tonnes in the same period of the previous season. China, Ukraine and Uzbekistan led in AJC exports to the Russian Federation.
